Inniskillin Gold Vidal Icewine

Harvesting of this unique and deliciously sweet Canadian Icewine takes place during the height of winter. Naturally frozen on the vine and picking only when the temperature drops to minus 10 degrees Celsius. Extracting only a small amount of nectar from each bunch. Then a slow fermentaion at an average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius to achieve a rich, specialty wine known as Icewine.

  • Inniskillin Icewine is made with 100% Gold Vidal grapes
  • Boasting aromatics of tropical fruit, including mango and orange
  • The palate is full of fruit flavours, think peach, nectarine, and lemon, balanced by crisp and lively acidity.

Inniskillin Gold Vidal Icewine 2018 is perfect on its own, with scallops, lobster, rich pates, mature cheese, or fruity desserts.

Inniskillin is Canada’s first estate winery. They offer award-winning wines and had a pioneering role in establishing the Canadian wine industry.

On July 31, 1975, its founding team made history achieving the first winery license in Canada since Prohibition. Inniskillin came into prominence on the global stage with its win at the 1991 Vinexpo, in Bordeaux, France. Awarding the highest Grand Prix d'Honneur for their Vidal Icewine, changing the way the world sees Canadian wine.
