10 Year Old Port Wine

10 year old port has been aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 10 years. During this ageing process, the wine takes on a more complex flavour profile and a distinctive amber colour. The longer a port is aged, the more it oxidises, which imparts nutty, caramel, and dried fruit flavours to the wine.

In the case of 10 year old port, the wine has had enough time to develop these flavours but still retains some of the fruitiness and freshness of younger ports.
