Cartuxa Evora Colheita Branco
Rooted in centuries of tradition, the wines of Cartuxa hail from the Evora sub-region of Alentejo - one of Portugal’s most historic winemaking areas. The vineyards are part of the Quinta de Valbom estate, where grape growing dates back to 1517, the same year Jesuits arrived to found Portugal’s second-oldest university.
Owned by the Eugenio de Almeida Foundation - a charitable organisation established in 1963. Cartuxa wines draw inspiration from the nearby Cartuxa Monastery, home to Carthusian monks who embraced silence and contemplation since 1598.
