Cartuxa Evora Colheita Branco
This wine is produced in Evora by Fundacao Eugenio de Almeida, a name linked to the Cartuxos monks who settled here in 1598. It is made from Antao Vaz, Arinto and Roupeiro grapes grown on granitic soils, reflecting the classic style of Alentejo wines. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at 16°C to preserve fruit character, followed by nine months on fine lees with regular battonage for added depth.
