Gonzalez Byass Noe VORS 30 Year Old Pedro Ximenez Sherry
Hand-crafted from the finest sun-ripened grapes, expert blending and then maturing in oak casks for a minimum of 30 years. The rare old solera sherries are a true expression of some of the world’s finest and rarest wines.
The Noe VORS 30 year old pedro ximenez sherry is a blend of the finest pedro ximenez grapes, grown in the southern region of Spain and harvested by hand.
The grapes are sun-dried to concentrate their sugars, then fermentation takes place in oak barrels using the traditional solera system. This involves ageing the sherry in a series of barrels of decreasing size, gradually blending the oldest sherry with the younger sherry in each barrel.
- Noe is a unique iridescent ebony colour
- Powerful aromas heavy with figs, plums, coffee and spices
- Smooth and silky to the palate
- Suitable for vegans and vegetarians
Gonzalez Byass Noe VORS 30 year old is perfect on its own. Chill before serving in a small wine glass. Sensational with plain chocolate, vanilla ice-creams and desserts. Drink with Christmas pudding, or drizzle over quality vanilla ice cream for an indulgent treat.
In 2022, this wine won an IWC award.
