Gonzalez Byass Apostoles VORS 30 Year Old Palo Cortado
Hand-crafted from the finest sun-ripened grapes, expertly blended and then matured in oak casks for a minimum of 30 years, the Rare Old Solera sherries are a true expression of some of the world’s finest and rarest wines.
This sherry is a blend of 87% palomino and 13% pedro ximenez. Only the juice that runs freely and the first press must of the palomino is used for this wine. Following with fermentation and fortification to 20% abv before entering the Palo Cortado Solera. Strong pressing of the pedro ximenez, fermentation and fortification to 15% abv before entering the PX solera.

- It is an interesting wine with a elegant and delicate nose similar to an amontillado with notes of concentrated fruits
- The palate is complex and intense with notes of caramel, mature wood, nuts and candied orange peel
