FAQ's For Warre's Vintage Port 2007

How should I store this Port?

Store lying down in a cool, dark place with stable temperature. Vintage Port is designed for long ageing, and proper storage preserves its structure and aromatics.

What’s the best way to serve this Port?

Decant for at least 2 hours. Vintage Port throws sediment and benefits greatly from aeration. Serve at 16–18°C to highlight its dark fruit, floral lift and spice. Use a tulip‑shaped Port glass that concentrates aromatics and enhances the tasting experience.

How long can this Port be cellared?

When stored correctly, Warre's Vintage Port 2007 can continue to evolve for 20 years or more from today.

How is this port made?

Crafted from a traditional Douro field blend dominated by Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Tinto Cao the five cornerstone grapes of classic Vintage Port. These varieties come from Quinta da Cavadinha, where old vines and steep schist terraces produce naturally concentrated fruit with exceptional aromatics and structure.

The 2007 growing season delivered ideal conditions: a balanced spring, warm summer and perfect late‑season ripening. Grapes were foot‑trodden in granite lagares, ensuring gentle yet thorough extraction. After fermentation, the young Port was aged in seasoned oak casks before bottling unfiltered, preserving purity, power and long‑term ageing potential.
