Food Pairing

Food Pairing Suggestions

Here are a few serving suggestions and pairing ideas to help you get the most from this white wine, whether you’re enjoying it with food or simply savouring it on its own.

Creamy mushroom risotto with Parmesan and fresh thyme works beautifully because the rich texture mirrors the wine's rounded palate. Notes of apple and white blossom keep the pairing fresh, while subtle vanilla complements the savoury depth. Serve slightly chilled for the best balance.

Roast chicken with garlic, lemon and rosemary is an excellent match thanks to its golden skin and succulent texture. The wine's orchard fruit character lifts the savoury flavours, while its freshness prevents the dish feeling heavy. Allow the bottle a few minutes in the glass before serving.

Meet The Producer

Meet The Wine Producer Behind The Bottle

A brief look at the producer’s heritage and winemaking approach.

Antinori

This is one of Italy's historic wine-producing families, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1385. For more than six centuries, 26 generations have guided the business, combining respect for its Tuscan roots with a willingness to explore new ideas and wine styles.

The family's recorded history began when Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined Florence's Winemakers' Guild. Over the centuries, the Antinoris developed their business while maintaining close links with Tuscany, its vineyards and its cultural heritage. Palazzo Antinori in Florence became an important family residence in 1506, reflecting the family's growing position in the city.

In the twentieth century, the family continued to shape Italian wine through innovation. Niccolo Antinori created Villa Antinori in 1928 as an expression of the family's identity and its interpretation of Tuscan wine. Later, under Piero Antinori, the business helped redefine expectations for Italian fine wine, notably with Tignanello, first released in 1971.

The family has continued to invest in vineyards, wineries and research while preserving its independence and long-term outlook. Today, sisters Albiera, Allegra and Alessia Antinori represent the 26th generation, working alongside chief executive and winemaker Renzo Cotarella.

Marchesi Antinori now manages a wide portfolio of estates and wine brands across Italy and beyond. Its wines range from established Tuscan classics to innovative expressions from other regions, reflecting a family philosophy that values heritage without standing still.
