Taylor's Awarded Royal Warrant Of Appointment As Supplier Of Port Wines To His Majesty King Charles III

Taylor's Port is honoured to announce that it has been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment as a supplier of Port Wines to His Majesty King Charles III. This esteemed recognition underscores Taylor's longstanding relationship with the British Royal Household and its commitment to excellence in Port wine production.

A Legacy Of Royal Patronage

Taylor's has had the privilege of supplying Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Household for many years. This Royal Warrant further solidifies the company's enduring connection with the monarchy, highlighting its dedication to quality and tradition.

Official Appointment

While the Royal Warrant conveys several privileges, it is officially granted to an individual. In this instance, the honour has been bestowed upon Adrian Bridge, Managing Director of Taylor's, who will represent the company in its official communications with the Royal Household.

Adrian Bridge's Statement

Adrian Bridge expressed his pride in receiving the Royal Warrant, stating:

"This recognition is a truly significant moment in Taylor’s long and distinguished history. It is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our team, whose unwavering pursuit of excellence has made this honour possible."

About Taylor's Port

Founded in 1692, Taylor's has remained under family ownership throughout its history, dedicated exclusively to producing high-quality Port wines. Renowned for its exceptional Vintage Ports, Taylor's is recognised as a benchmark for elegance, longevity, and distinctive character. The company pioneered the creation of LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) Port and Chip Dry, the first Dry White Port. Taylor's is also the foremost producer of Aged Tawnies, supported by one of the most extensive reserves of cask-aged Port wines.

Taylor's commitment extends beyond the bottle, championing sustainable viticulture and preserving the unique environmental, social, and economic aspects of the Douro region, where its three renowned estates - Quinta de Vargellas, Quinta da Terra Feita, and Quinta do Junco—are located.

Commemorative Release

In celebration of King Charles III's coronation, Taylor's released a limited edition of its Very Very Old Tawny Port, aptly named Coronation Port. This exclusive release pays homage to the company's longstanding association with the Royal Household and its dedication to producing exceptional Ports.

This Royal Warrant represents both an honour and a responsibility, underscoring Taylor’s dedication to excellence and its enduring connection to history, tradition, and the highest standards of craftsmanship.
