The Fladgate Partnership marked St George’s Day by announcing the release of a vintage ports from 2022.
- A stunning vintage port with a deep purple-black core and a vivid magenta rim. The nose bursts with juicy blackcurrant and ripe cherry, unfolding layers of woodland berries, plum, citrus, and subtle quince. Hints of violet, delicate blossoms, and gentle herbal notes add complexity and elegance.
- On the palate, it glides smoothly with pure, vibrant berry fruit, beautifully balanced by firm, integrated tannins that provide structure and finesse.
- The finish is long, harmonious, and refined, a quintessential single quinta vintage port.
Pair with walnuts, blue veined and other richly flavoured cheeses. So too are dried fruits such as apricots or figs. Serve at 16ºC to 18ºC. Taylors vintage port is best drunk one to two days after opening.
