Tasting Profile:

• Appearance: Opaque, near-black ruby with a slim purple rim.
• Nose: Complex and layered, and it keeps developing as it breathes. A deep core of dark berries, bramble, cassis and black cherry is lifted by a flinty, mineral edge, wild herbs and cedar. With time in the glass, it moves towards more mature notes of beeswax, leather and cigar box.
• Palate: Concentrated black and red berry fruit, framed by thick, grainy tannins that give the wine real power and structure.
• Finish: The fruit builds steadily towards a long, intense close, showing the scale that old vines achieved in 2017.
