Lancashire Mead Company Vikings Blood Mead
A fruity mead to join Odin and your friends and celebrate your love of mead together.
Vikings Blood Mead is made with blossom honey along with fresh hedgerow berries. It has pure blueberry, blackcurrant and blackberry concentrate added to the fermentation process.
The addition of the berry juice gives it a smooth and deceptive, almost alcohol free taste despite its percentage. Creating a soft fruity mead which is a firm favourite for regulars and non-mead lovers alike.
The only one of our meads that we recommend is best drunk young. Serve chilled or over ice or pair with something fizzy.

As this is a natural product, some hazing and sedimentation is likely to occur. Leave to settle in a cool, dark place and pour carefully. This a natural part of the maturation process and is not harmful to consumer or product. In fact, it will taste even better for it and it is why we use a decanter style bottle.
