Hive Mind Mead & Brew Co. is an artisan mead and honey beer producer from the Welsh Borders, started in 2018 by brothers Kit and Matt Newell with a mission to modernise the world’s oldest fermented drink. Their journey began in a converted garage and quickly expanded after early recognition at local markets and awards, leading to a move to a larger site in Caldicot and the opening of a taproom.

The brand crafts a range of light, sparkling meads and innovative honey brews using honey from its own apiaries and trusted local beekeepers, emphasising natural fermentation and low-intervention production. Hive Mind’s meads have won national awards and reflect a deep commitment to sustainable beekeeping, environmental stewardship and community engagement.
