Tasting Notes

Taylors 20 Year Old  Tawny Port Jeroboam

This impressive large-format bottling is drawn from a selection of cask-aged reserves matured for decades in the historic lodges of Oporto. The extended ageing process brings together depth, finesse, and a beautifully integrated profile, further enhanced by the generous format.

Tasting Notes:

  • Deep amber with golden highlights.
  • The bouquet is rich and inviting, showing aromas of dried fruit such as figs and raisins, alongside orange peel, roasted nuts, and soft spice. Subtle layers of toffee and vanilla emerge with a hint of oak complexity.
  • On the palate, the wine is smooth and rounded, delivering flavours of caramelised nuts, stewed plum, and gentle spice.
  • Balanced acidity provides freshness, leading into a long, refined finish with nutty and slightly citrus undertones.
