Tenuta San Guido is a historic estate in Bolgheri, Tuscany, internationally recognised for creating Sassicaia, a pioneering wine that helped redefine Italian winemaking. Developed by Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, the estate introduced Bordeaux grape varieties to the Tuscan coast, taking advantage of the region’s unique maritime climate and gravel-rich soils.

Over time, Sassicaia achieved global acclaim and became a benchmark for Italian fine wine, leading to the establishment of its own appellation within Bolgheri. Today, Tenuta San Guido continues to focus on precision, terroir expression and long-term ageing potential, producing wines that reflect both innovation and heritage.
