Courvoisier Mizunara Cognac 2023

Maison Courvoisier, established in 1828, has a longstanding tradition of innovation and excellence in cognac production. In collaboration with Japan's esteemed House of Suntory, Courvoisier presents the second edition of the Courvoisier Mizunara Cognac, a limited-release expression that masterfully blends French craftsmanship with Japanese artistry.

  • The influence of Mizunara oak introduces subtle hints of sandalwood and oriental spices, setting the stage for a complex aromatic experience.
  • Opulent flavours of vanilla and smooth honey form the foundation, complemented by the decadence of caramel and the depth of toasted oak, resulting in a harmonious blend of sweetness and spice.
  • A long-lasting finish with subtle sweetness and tropical undertones, leaving a refined and satisfying aftertaste.

Presented in an elegant wooden gift box, the bottle showcases the golden mahogany hue of the liquid. The minimalist design allows the beauty of the liquid to shine through, with an embossed depiction of the legendary Japanese Mizunara oak tree, underscoring the cognac's unique maturation process.

This edition features eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, and Borderies crus. The cognac is initially aged in French oak barrels before being transferred to rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks, known for their unique characteristics and influence on the spirit.

Only 500 bottles of this rare cognac have been released globally, each individually numbered, emphasising its exclusivity.
