Chateau Coutet is a historic Premier Cru Classe estate located in the Barsac appellation of Sauternes, Bordeaux. With origins dating back to the 13th century, the estate has long been recognised for producing elegant, refined sweet wines shaped by the region’s unique microclimate and noble rot (botrytis cinerea).

The vineyards are planted primarily with Semillon, supported by Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, grown on limestone-rich soils that bring freshness and precision to the wines. Chateau Coutet is known for its lighter, more vibrant style within Sauternes, combining natural sweetness with lively acidity and aromatic lift.
