A rare premium Rubino Marsala from Sicily, created in honour of Joseph Pellegrino, the family member who helped establish the Pellegrino wine house internationally during the 19th century. Crafted from Nero d’Avola grapes and matured with exceptional care, it represents a traditional style of Marsala that is increasingly uncommon today.

Fortified with five-year-old oak-aged brandy and matured for 24 months in Allier oak casks, this elegant Sicilian fortified wine combines rich red fruit character with depth, sweetness and refined oak complexity.

Pellegrino

Pellegrino is one of Sicily’s most historic and respected wine producers, founded in 1880 by Paolo Pellegrino in Marsala, at the western tip of the island. Built on a passion for Sicilian winemaking and the region’s famous fortified wines, the family winery has played an important role in preserving and promoting the traditions of Marsala wine for more than 140 years.

From its beginnings as a family-owned estate, Pellegrino has grown into one of Sicily’s leading producers while remaining closely connected to the island’s heritage. The winery has expanded its expertise beyond Marsala to include a wide range of still wines, dessert wines and native Sicilian expressions that reflect the diversity of the island’s landscapes.

Today, Cantine Pellegrino remains family-owned and continues to combine generations of knowledge with modern winemaking, championing Sicily’s unique identity through wines that express tradition, authenticity and a strong sense of place.
