Food Pairing

Food Pairing Suggestions

Here are a few serving suggestions and pairing ideas to help you get the most from this wine, whether you’re enjoying it with food or simply savouring it on its own.

Caramel fondant with apple and ginger jelly is a superb match, as the wine’s maturity and smooth texture complement the richness of the dessert while the gentle spice in the dish creates a natural bridge. Serving the wine lightly chilled keeps the pairing refined and balanced.

A classic tarte tatin also works beautifully, with the warm pastry and slow‑cooked fruit providing a soft counterpoint to the wine’s depth. Medium‑strength cheeses, particularly those with a creamy, slightly salty profile - offer an elegant savoury contrast that highlights the wine’s long ageing.
