Tasting Notes

Taylors Quinta Terra Feita Vintage Port

Taylor's is one of the oldest and most respected Port houses. This port is particularly special. It has intense aromas of blackberry, black cherry, plum and liquorice, ripe, smooth tannins and jammy fruit flavours on the finish.

Like those of Vargellas, the wines of the beautiful old property of Terra Feita are an essential component of the Taylors vintage port blend.

Tasting Notes:

  • A sensuous, full-bodied port.
  • It offers ripe blackberry and cassis fruit complemented by wild herbal notes, with subtle hints of liquorice and tobacco.
  • The palate is rich and dense, with muscular yet integrated tannins.
  • Culminating in a long, layered finish of dark fruit and spice.

Our Review:

The colour is incredibly striking, and the nose is packed with black fruit and mint. The palate is bold and full, with liquorice, chocolate and thick tannins giving it real presence. I love how the berry fruit explodes on the finish.
