Fonseca Crusted Port 75cl

A traditional, bottle-aged style from Portugal’s Douro Valley, crafted by one of the few houses that continues to produce crusted port today.

Made from a blend of rich, full-bodied wines and bottled without fining or filtration, it develops depth and complexity during extended bottle ageing.

Offering impressive structure and layered flavour, it delivers a “vintage character” experience without the premium price of a declared vintage.

Fonseca Crusted Port

Crusted port is a traditional style and Fonseca is one of very few houses that continue to produce it. It is a blend of rich, full-bodied ports bottled without fining or filtration.

Maturing the port for a short time in barrel and then rested in the bottle for three years prior to release. During this period the sediment, which is always unfiltered, forms a crust in the bottle. Therefore giving you a “vintage character” without a vintage price tag.
