• Known for its light, smooth texture and rich flavours. Beautifully balanced wine, with flavours of dried fruits like apricots and figs, combined with caramel and subtle nutty notes. The tawny colour comes from ageing in oak casks, which adds complexity and a soft, mellow finish. Kopke & Courvoisier

Kopke & Courvoisier brings together two historic names from the world of European fortified wine and spirits.

Kopke has its roots in Portugal, dating back to 1638, when Cristiano Kopke established the house in Porto. The company went on to become one of the Douro Valley's best-known Port producers, developing particular expertise in aged Tawny and Vintage Port.

Courvoisier, meanwhile, is one of France's celebrated Cognac houses, with a history dating to the early nineteenth century. Based in Jarnac in the Cognac region, the house established an international reputation for its carefully blended and matured eaux-de-vie.
