Port Used: Graham’s Six Grapes Ruby Port
Glassware: Heatproof glass mug or handled mulled-wine glass
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 150ml Ruby Port
- 150ml cloudy apple juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 1 star anise
- Peel of half an orange
- 1 tsp honey
- 20ml brandy
Method
- Heat the apple juice, spices, and orange peel in a small saucepan for 5 minutes.
- Add the Port and honey, warming gently without boiling.
- Stir in the brandy just before serving.
- Strain into heatproof mugs.
