Sandeman Armada Superior Cream Oloroso Sherry

Sandeman Armada Superior Cream Oloroso Sherry is a type of fortified wine. From the Sandeman winery in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.

This particular sherry is from a blend of oloroso wines, maturing for a period of time in American oak casks. Developing a rich, nutty flavour profile. Blending with a small amount of pedro ximenez wine. Creating a unique and complex wine that is both sweet and nutty, making it a popular choice among sherry enthusiasts.

  • Dark mahogany colour, with highlights of old gold
  • Very deep and complex oloroso characteristics are offset by the richness and personality of pedro ximenez
  • Full-bodied and well balanced
  • Very smooth and velvety long aftertaste

Store this sherry in an upright position and avoid intense light and maintain a constant temperature of 10ºC-20ºC.

This premium sherry is ready to drink and does not require decanting. Serve chilled, between 10ºC-12ºC. Once open the Sandeman sherry will remain fresh for up to 8 weeks.

Sandeman Sherry Armada Superior Cream is a good match to rich desserts, accompanying cakes, ice creams, chocolate or even blue cheese.

One of the standout features of this sherry is its versatility as a sipping wine or as a component in cocktails. Enjoy on its own, or as an accompaniment to a wide range of dishes, including hearty stews, grilled meats, and cured meats.

It is also a common ingredient in cocktails. Try the classic sherry cobbler, which is made by muddling sugar, orange, and mint, and then adding sherry and ice.
