Elderflower Mead

Elderflower Mead is a 'Metheglin' (herbed honey mead). The elderflowers are picked by hand, de-stemmed and boiled into a cordial which is added to the honey to begin fermenting. Adding elderflower gives this Mead a smooth and floral taste that has converted a number of non-elderflower lovers!
