Kopke Colheita Port 1979

Kopke port is the oldest port house. Established in 1638 by Nicolau Kopke and his son Cristiano, who came to Portugal as representatives of the Hanseatic League, the House has been run through the generations by several representatives of the Kopke family, obtaining an excellent reputation for its wines.

Chill before serving reveals all its finesse and sophistication, especially when drunk with desserts made with caramel, dried fruit and spice. Try caramel fondant with apple and ginger jelly, tarte tatin, creme brulee and medium-strength cheeses.

Serve Kopke colheita port 1979 at a temperature between 12 and 14°C.

Store the wine in a cool and dry place, sheltering from light and temperature fluctuations. Keep the bottle in an upright position. Over time, it is natural that sediment will form at the bottom of a bottle of Port wine.

To assure its full quality and flavour, store in the bottle for as little time as possible. Drink preferably between 2 to 6 months.
